A funny office-based romantic comedy about a woman called Narumi, who is always getting dumped by her boyfriends when they find out her secret, she’s a hardcore otaku and a yaoi mangaka. When starting out the new job she bumps into her childhood friend Hirotaka, who is also an otaku, who almost let slip her secret on her first day on the job. She hatches a plan to make sure he never speaks of her secret at work but he has a counteroffer, why doesn’t she just date him instead? Follow Narumi, Hirotaka and their colleagues as they get through the daily grind of an office 9-5 so they can enjoy the things they truly love in their downtime.
This one was great because it hits close to home. Finding love while liking things that a lot of people find weird. It’s about just being yourself and not trying to fit into society’s norms. Just be yourself and you’ll find people who are like-minded who will like you for you. Even if you’re a hardcore otaku.
